• The different SoC is used: Freescale iMX233 has been replaced by iMX287. The new SoC is fully software compatible with the previous one.
• The amount of RAM has been doubled to 128MB

The following features has been added:

• Bluetooth low energy (BLE)
• CAN port
• CIR (infrared)
• S/PDIF (digital audio output)
• Two extension module sockets
• Port for input-output modules.

The following has been removed:

• Analog audio output (has been replaced by the digital one)
• Isolated RS-485 (available as an extension module. Two unisolated RS-485 ports are available on board.)

• Rechargeable Li-Ion battery support (The backup battery module is available instead).
