  1. Connect your USB-UART adater to your PC and attach the connecting wires to the pins on the controller port as following: GND to GND, TX to RX, RX to TX. Please keep in mind that on some adapters TX is called RX and RX is called TX, so you have to cross-connect the wires in this case. Most of the USB-UART adapters are supported by Linux kernel (or have appropriate modules). Windows users have to install the appropriate version of the adapter driver.
  2. Run the serial terminal software and choose the following settings: (115200 kbit per second, 8 data bits, no parity bit, one stop bit). Use the default login root and the password wirenboard to enter the console.
