Wiren Board is a multipurpose Linux-based automation controller.

It is intended for household and industrial automation and monitoring systems: for polling sensors and counters, operate as a part of data acquisition and transmission devices or automatic systems for commercial accounting of power consumption. It is also possible to use Wiren Board instead of a PLC and as a part of “smart-home” systems. It is equipped with sufficient number of ports and interfaces, provides a convenient web-interface, which makes it possible to use Wiren Board as a central “smart-home” controller combined with third-party wired and wireless devices.

Overvoltage protection of ports, ability of DIN-rail installation, as well as availability of a watchdog timer make Wiren Board suitable for applications that require high reliability. Almost any automation task may be solved by means of Wiren Board. If necessary, our skilled engineers will improve the software, configure auxiliary equipment and customize the controller in accordance with your requirements.


Documentation & Support

It is enougth to be expirienced at electronics and automatic machinery devices as user + JavaScript for writing scripts/scenarios. Linux advanced user skill is not required for typical installations.

Equipment selection and accessories

GSM antenna

For using GSM/GPRS functions antenna is needed. If the signal is stable, rubber ducky antenna is enough. If you have a poor signal coverage, we strongly recommend to buy an external one with a 2.5m cable. GSM/GPRS modem option can be choosed in configuration menu.

Radiomodule​

This module provides connection for radio-based devices using 433 MHz frequency (Noolite devices, for example). External antenna is included.

Wi-Fi & Bluetooth

Wi-Fi module provides connecting to the controller’s web-interface from any PC, smartphone or tablet (web browser required) and allows to perform configuration via SSH. Wiren Board starts distributing Wi-Fi shortly after being switched ON.
Wi-Fi effective range is up to 2 meters in open areas. We strongly recommend adding an external Wi-Fi antenna to enchance the connection quality.

Z-wave support

Full Z-wave support uncludes USB-stick and suited software.

Power supply

Wiren Board 5 requires the power 1-1.5 A. You can choose wall supply (EU plug 220V), DIN-rail supply or Passive PoE (Power over Internet, EU plug 220v).

Embedded Accumulator Module

Accumulator module installed as a “second floor” daughterboard into controller’s enclosure. It is used as reserve and provides up to 2 hours of operation in case of a power failure.
